In a crisis, coverage can't be the thing that fails
Schools and campuses need a 911 call to connect from any room, an alert to reach everyone, and a responder's radio to work the moment they walk in. Sector builds the in-building coverage that carries all of it, and the panic buttons and gunshot detection that can ride on top.
A dead zone in a school is a safety gap
A campus runs on connectivity, but in a crisis it becomes a safety system. A 911 call has to go through from the far corner of the building. A lockdown alert has to reach every classroom. A first responder's radio has to work the second they cross the threshold. Brick, concrete, and steel block all of it, and the dead zone nobody noticed on a normal day becomes the gap that costs time when time matters most.
Cellular and Wi-Fi alone don't cover this. Wi-Fi drops devices between buildings and won't carry a responder's radio. The fix is in-building cellular and public-safety coverage built for the whole campus.

COVERAGE BUILT FOR SAFETY
Coverage that carries safety
A distributed antenna system distributes cellular and public-safety radio throughout the building so the critical channels work everywhere. Cellular keeps 911 calls and mass alerts moving on the carrier networks. Public-safety DAS connects two-way radios and FirstNet for responders. It covers staff and students on a normal day and the people responding on the worst one.
Panic buttons and gunshot detection on the same system
Smart antennas placed through the building can host BLE panic buttons and acoustic gunshot detection. The detection runs on the antenna and on a local edge server, distinguishes a gunshot from other loud noises, and sends an alert with a room-level location in seconds. No audio is recorded, so it doesn't create a privacy problem for students or staff.

In-building coverage sits alongside the rest of our Alyssa's Law work. The panic-alert and notification requirements that drive school-safety law depend on signal that actually reaches every room, which is exactly what a DAS provides. We can scope coverage on its own or as part of the larger program.
HOW A CAMPUS GETS COVERED
Site survey and design
Tell us about your campus. We run a pre-installation signal sweep, map the dead zones building by building, and develop a conceptual design to code.
AHJ submission
We prepare and submit the design documentation to the Authority Having Jurisdiction and work through review and approval.
Coordination
A pre-installation meeting aligns schedule, cable pathways, equipment locations, and the other trades before any cable goes in.
Installation
Amplifiers, donor and interior antennas, cabling, and battery backup go in. Public-safety systems add the annunciator panel and emergency power-off.
Commissioning and acceptance
We configure and commission the system, run the final sweep and grid testing, and support the AHJ inspection.
Training and support
We train your designated personnel and put an ongoing maintenance plan in place.
