Dual 4K, ALPR, and low-light that actually works
The patrol front camera does more than record. Dual 4K resolution gives you a wide panoramic view that keeps the whole stop on camera alongside a second lens tuned for detail, and built-in AI license plate recognition reads plates from distance and flags hits as you drive. Low-light performance holds color and detail when there is almost no light, so the footage is usable at two in the morning, not just at noon. Cabin and rear cameras add prisoner-transport and back-seat coverage, all built to military environmental standards for the cabin of a working patrol vehicle.

The recorder is the data hub
At the center of the vehicle is the in-car recorder, a compact, fanless unit that captures multiple camera feeds and vehicle data at the same time to solid-state, encrypted storage. It is the hub the rest of the system runs through, coordinating triggers, tagging events, and doing edge processing such as license plate recognition at the point of capture. Its small footprint preserves cabin legroom, and its solid-state design holds up to the heat and vibration of patrol while keeping evidence encrypted to 256-bit AES.

Record once, capture everywhere
In-car video does its best work tied to the officer's body-worn camera. Coordinated triggering means a light bar activation, a door opening, or a hard G-force event starts the in-car cameras and the body-worn camera at the same time, so the incident is captured from every angle without anyone reaching for a button. The body-worn camera doubles as the wireless microphone for the in-car system, which takes weight off the vest. The result is a multi-perspective record of the same event, captured automatically.

MOVE
Offload and tagging without the busywork
The step that fails most often is the human one. Sector configures automated offload, so that when the vehicle pulls into Wi-Fi range at the station, video moves to storage on its own, and body-worn cameras offload and charge in a multi-bay dock. Officers add case numbers and metadata to the video from the in-car display while it is fresh, so footage arrives at the evidence system already tagged and searchable instead of as a pile of nameless files someone has to sort later.

Evidence management that survives a challenge
Footage is only evidence if you can prove no one altered it. The management layer Sector deploys uses role-based access with optional multi-factor authentication, encryption in transit and at rest, and full audit logging of every view, edit, and share, so the chain of custody is traceable end to end.
