Downtime is the most expensive thing your fleet does
A fleet build brings together video and telematics, mounting, power, and connectivity, plus the install crews to roll it out across the whole fleet with minimal downtime. Sector specs, installs, and supports it, then keeps it working.
A fleet's worst costs are the ones you do not see coming
For a commercial fleet, a vehicle out of service is not an inconvenience, it is lost revenue. Every hour a truck or work vehicle sits is a job not run and a driver not earning, and the bill for that downtime rarely shows up on any invoice.
The other hidden cost is risk. When something happens on the road, an unclear account of who did what becomes a disputed claim, a higher premium, and exposure the business carries. Video and telematics close that gap, but only when they are installed right and actually working the moment it counts.
Then there is scale. Rolling new technology across dozens or hundreds of vehicles is a project most operations are not staffed to run, and a piecemeal job done one truck at a time drags on for months. Sector designs the build once, installs it with dedicated crews, and supports it, so the fleet modernizes without grinding the operation to a halt.
WHY SECTOR FOR THIS SOLUTION
The same standard, built for business
Sector's build quality comes from public safety, where failure is not an option. Commercial fleets get that same engineering and quality control, applied to uptime, safety, and the bottom line instead of the call.
Built to roll out at scale
Dedicated install crews, a project manager, and a logged, repeatable process let us standardize a build across a whole fleet, from a handful of trucks to several hundred, while keeping vehicles moving through the schedule.
We stand behind it
An unlimited installation and workmanship warranty for the full life of the technology we sell, field service that comes to you, and one accountable partner instead of a chain of vendors pointing at each other.
THE FLEET BUILD
Turn a disputed claim into a timestamped clip
The system that protects the business. Road-facing, driver-facing, and side or rear cameras capture what happened, while driver-state monitoring and forward-collision alerts flag risk before it becomes an incident. Telematics ties location, vehicle data, and footage into one record, so a disputed claim becomes a clip with a timestamp and coaching becomes something you can show.
Sector sources and integrates fleet video and telematics platforms, and will build around the platform you already run or help you choose one. Talk to us about the system that fits the fleet.
Mounted, docked, and ready when the driver climbs in
For fleets that run a tablet or laptop in the cab, the machine has to be mounted where the driver can use it, docked so it charges and connects, and held to a vehicle-specific bracket that survives the road. We mount rugged tablets and laptops on heavy-duty hardware built for the exact truck, so the workstation is ready when the driver climbs in.
Run the gear and still start the next morning
Cameras, routers, and tablets all draw on a battery the vehicle was never sized to share, and work vehicles that idle or run power take-offs make it worse. We isolate the technology's power from the OEM electrical system, run it through a fused distribution, and add shutdown timers so the gear powers down safely and the vehicle still starts the next morning.
Offload the footage instead of leaving it in the cab
Video and telematics are only as good as the connection moving the data. A rugged in-vehicle router with a roof antenna keeps cameras, tablets, and tracking online across cellular networks, including private and priority data plans, with the bandwidth to offload footage instead of letting it sit on a card in the cab.
Where a fleet job is won or lost
This is where a fleet job is won or lost. Sector deploys dedicated install crews that remove legacy equipment, install the new build to one templated standard, confirm power and commission every system, and log each vehicle before it leaves the bay. Crews scale to the schedule and the sites, so hundreds of vehicles get the same build without pulling the whole fleet off the road at once.
HOW A FLEET BUILD COMES TOGETHER
Tell us about the fleet and the work
Tell us what the vehicles do, what they need to capture or carry, and the size of the fleet. We audit the vehicles so the build fits the trucks you actually run.
We design and spec the build
We design one standard build priced to your budget and your goals for uptime and safety, with power isolated from the vehicle. You see it before anything is ordered.
You review and approve
Nothing gets ordered or installed until you sign off. Any change is pre-authorized, so the price and the schedule hold.
We roll it out with dedicated crews
Install crews remove the old, install the new to one templated standard, commission each system, and log every vehicle, scaling to your sites and schedule to keep trucks moving.
We support it for the life of the system
You get a workmanship warranty, remote and on-site field service, and a partner who stays on the account as the fleet grows and refreshes.
