An ambulance is a clinical workspace on wheels. The technology inside has to work like one.

A medic unit is a working clinical space that happens to move at speed. The technology inside gets wiped down with harsh disinfectants after every transport, bounced over rough roads, and used in weather, in the dark, and with gloved hands. Consumer tablets don't survive disinfectant cycles and drops for long. Rugged hardware built for the work does, and it keeps your documentation moving instead of failing mid-shift.

The challenge is the workflow, not the parts list. A rugged tablet has to mount where a medic can reach it, dock and charge between calls, and sync ePCR data over a connection that doesn't drop between the scene and the emergency room. Scene and compartment lighting has to let crews work without fighting shadows. Field printing has to be there when a run report or label is needed. Each piece is simple on its own. Making them work together in a moving unit is the part that gets missed.

Sector's work is in public safety vehicle technology: rugged computing, mounting, power, connectivity, and lighting. A medic unit build leans on every one of those. We spec the components, source them, and confirm they work together before they reach your unit. Where a need runs past what we carry, we'll say so and help you find it.
